Family and friends gathered for The Alameda County Teacher of the Year Ceremony in Castro Valley, where Dave was being honored as New Haven District's Teacher of the Year.
For the first hour people mingled at the reception, where Daisuke stole the show. During the awards ceremony, each district’s Teacher of the Year was showcased in a two minute video. Although he didn’t win Alameda’s top award, Dave felt honored to share the stage with so many talented teachers, surrounded by loving family and friends. You can see all the videos and photos from the big evening at The 26th Annual Alameda County Teacher of the Year Awards.
