Rob and Nicole treated us to a Giants-Padres match up at Petco Park. The Tuesday evening thriller was a back and forth fight. The Giants began with a lead off home run. The Padres took a 4-1 lead in the early innings. The Giants battled back in the 6th inning for a 5-4 lead, only to have the Padres tie the game the following inning. Our crew feasted on ball park specialities: hot dogs, nachos, and cracker jack, and led the cheers in our section for the Giants.
After the 6th inning, we had to take little ones home, so they were awake for school the next day. In the car, we listened to the game on the radio and heard the Giants beat the Padres 6-5.
