Our Cross Country Adventure

We were an unlikely team for a cross country adventure: a seven-year-old and a senior citizen, a  geriatric dog and a Marine Captain. We drove two cars over 3,000 miles, traveling through fifteen states. We witnessed the the wonders of the West, our National Parks, including : The Grand Canyon, Zion, the Grand Teton, Yellowstone, Mount Rushmore and the Gateway Arch of St. Louis. We cruised through the cornfields of the Midwest and the rolling hills of Kentucky and West Virginia before reaching our destination: Quantico, Virginia. Here are the photos of our big, beautiful country.
