Tom and Tim joined me for a glorious summer hike on the Pt. Reyes Bear Valley Trail. Full creeks and lush green foliage from a rainy winter lined the four mile walk to the ocean. To our surprise a hiker can no longer stand on Arch Rock, due to the collapse of this famous landmark. Nevertheless, the perrenial Pt. Reyes fog bank hovered several miles offshore, leaving spectacular sunny views, both north and south.
