Jamie and I visited the San Francisco Botanical Gardens, this year’s Thanksgiving adventure. The gardens are nestled in a pretty spot of Golden Gate Park, near the California Academy of Sciences. They were beautiful, boasting 55 acres with 9000 different plants from around the world. We wandered along the footpaths, viewing succulents, flowers and trees. As we walked, we both wondered why we had never visited this magical place before. It deserves a return trip.
