Our Londoners arrived in early April for some Oakland fun. It was rise and shine at Covington, as Saya and Sachi snuggled with Grandad on the couch, while watching Bluey. After breakfast, the girls tested all the new sandbox toys. On the front lawn, they chased bubbles, rolled down the hill and threw water balloons with Roux. We played with puzzles, read books, and did art. In the evening, Mamo serenaded the girls with her guitar on the back deck, as we warmed ourselves by the fire. She also led a spiritied, "Let it Go", dance party.
During the week, we took excursions to nearby parks and visited Caryl and company in Petaluma. We even explored Lake Chabot by boat. Miko and the girls saw Bay Area family and friends, too. It was a great week, and we’re looking forward to continuing the fun in July.
