If you like the San Diego Zoo, you’ll love their Safari Park. It’s just 30 minutes from the O’Bergs. We spent the day watching the big cats, observing savana animals from a tram, and hearing about the park's successful condor restoration project. There is a big emphasis on habitat preservation and bringing back endangered species. You can see the wild people that we brought to the park, too.
