Harrier Jet Landing
The Harrier jets can make traditional landings on the Flight Deck, but watch the video to see them hover and land like a helicopter. They are often called “jump” jets because they can make both vertical takeoffs and landings if necessary. Harrier jets are used by the Marines to provide close ground support to ground troops or armed reconissance.
